International Climate Action Network (I-CAN) is a 30-month Erasmus+ funded international project to give teachers the skills, confidence and framework to enable pupils to become effective critical thinking collaborators and active climate conscious citizens.

Thinking critically, collaborating sustainably and acting justly

We’re delighted to be collaborating with international partners on this project, which draws together educators seeking to engage school children to think critically about climate change, collaborate sustainably and act justly.

The project reaches educators across France, Hungary, Italy and the UK, providing an educational platform to network and access resources. Educators facilitate Model UN Climate Conferences with school pupils and share their results with other schools across Europe, local authorities and trainee teachers.

Outputs

  1. A Climate Action Guide for Teachers, Pupils and Policy Makers: Thinking critically, collaborating sustainable and acting justly
  2. Climate Conference Kit: A teachers guide to running Climate Conferences and supporting climate action
  3. I-CAN e-learning platform: A community platform as well as a digital learning space for educators and schools.
