Each school may send up to two teams to represent country delegations, with a maximum of 5 students per delegation (10 students per school in total).

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking is recommended.

About the Conference

Part 1: Enacting global negotiations

As world leaders gather for COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye, 60+ young people from across South Warwickshire will step into the role of international delegates, taking on the parts of up to 16 countries at the United Nations talks.

Through debate, collaboration and diplomacy, students will be immersed in global progress towards nations’ actual carbon reduction targets before trying to agree more ambitious climate action by 2030. 

Part 2: Connecting with local decision-makers

In part two, students will have the opportunity to amplify their voices and see how to turn ideas into local climate action. 

They will engage with decision-makers and local organisations through the Climate Marketplace and Climate Question Time panel.

These sessions help students link global climate discussions with action taking place in the region, while expanding their knowledge of sustainability and green skills and careers.
